Trompenburgh Manor is an elegant 17th-century historic building designed like a country house sitting directly inside a body of water. It's built on a brick foundation featuring arched alcoves that house classical white sculptures. The main structure has light-tan wood paneling with tall glass-paned windows. The roof is topped with a large, dark octagonal dome. The calm, glass-like water creates a near-perfect, symmetrical reflection of the entire building, its dome, and the surrounding trees.
