Alien scientists, as all scientists all over the universe try to sample in a way that is least stressful for the sampled species, since they want to study them when they behave natural.
For homo sapiens the scenario you describe has been long known to make homo sapiens specimens to fall back into their natural behavioral patterns pretty soon. When you re-wild them they're usually a bit confused but don't make much noise in their fellow sapiens population.
What should they say?
"I woke up and was in the super finest hotel you could imagine. Some stuff you had to unlock first to get at it, some kind of riddles, but I beat them all and it was great. Part of the entertainment likely. No idea actually what happened. Sounds like a dream. Maybe, dunno, it was dream. Whatever. ... What do you think about the playoff last weekend?"
