The #Trump admin is asking #Congress for an additional $10 million to cover costs related to Freedom 250 events recently held on the National Mall, including a prayer event, a fair & a fireworks show.
Sen. Jeff Merkley (Oregon), the top #Democrat on the #Senate Appropriations subcommittee that oversees funding for the Mall, said an earlier request from the admin was presented to Congress last week….
