Yes yes, teh gay boys are at it again.

Me: I set the settings before we left the house and drove the car. And Chris, riding shotgun, held the camera and pressed the shutter. Technically, I think that makes him the organ grinder and me the monkey. Or maybe the other way 'round. 🙃

Anyway, this is a one second exposure in a tunnel underneath Devil's Slide on Highway 1. Taken last week, on the way down to Half Moon Bay.

A relatively jitter-free, wide-angle photo taken inside one of the one-lane bores built to bypass an unstable, cliff-hugging section of Highway 1 in Santa Clara County.

Here, a reddish roadway and tunnel walls speed past the car. Blue and yellow tunnel light streak out from the distance. An SUV far in front of us approaches the tunnel exit.
