Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, a Democrat, told CNN’s Dana Bash Tuesday that the #airport #ICE deployment fits what he sees as a broader strategy∶ using the #military & federal law enforcement to help #Trump hold #power — including, potentially, during the #midterms.

The #FAA issued a ground ⁠stop for all planes at ​the airport until 0530 GMT, acc/to a notice from the regulator.

The FAA notice showed that the reason for the ​halt at the airport was an ​emergency & there was a high probability ‌of ⁠an extension, w/o specifying any details.

In a separate notice to airmen, the FAA said that the airport could ​be shut ​until ⁠1800 GMT.

Congratulations #Trump, this is one of the many unfortunate consequences of an #unfit president.
