#Trump admin ends #Medicare drug subsidy
Around 25 million older adults with #MedicarePartD prescription drug plans could face steeper monthly costs in 2027 after the Trump admin cut a temporary subsidy program that has helped offset premiums for the past 2 years.
The program was initially implemented by the #Biden admin in 2024 to lower patients’ Part D #PrescriptionDrugs costs in response to effects of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
