@danie10 Lulz. Who in their right mind would ever think "This is OK!" for a company to do? I mean, anyone still sane and affected would bail and never again buy a monitor from LG. Or at least one would hope so.

What an incredibly short-sighted move. Though I bet some suit met some KPI expectation with that and made off with the money. Truly mindboggling how stupid even (especially?) big and well-known brands can act.

@zelphirkaltstahl yes not sure if they just think they won't get caught out (until they start showing ads) but that sucking up of behavioural data is becoming too common nowadays. We should exercise the right to buy elsewhere. Just wish the same applied to WhatsApp as somehow they've retained quite a few users ;-)
