I used to live in #ATX. For all that people say it's a progressive city, it's still in Texas, where they literally outlawed mandatory water breaks for people who work outside, and the cops can still be seen carrying military grade weaponry for no obvious reason. I hate that it happened, and am completely unsurprised. I wish the people who need to could all afford to flee to safer places.

I totally agree with you, but what will you do?

If you want to change people to be harmless, you have 3 options:

1 - Returning them to liquid form.
2 - Turning them into the dead.
3 - Break their brains and uncheck the 'free will' checkbox.

@QasimRashid Wisconsin and the Corey protest, another show of police brutality, also shot in the head, he trying to escape. The cops were put on leave. There the people took to the streets. Sad state of affairs in the US, here it did not even make the news, the media does not really cover what happens overseas. 😒

@QasimRashid American cops appear to be terrifyingly trigger-happy and unconcerned about people’s lives. I am always shocked to hear both how easily they draw a weapon against the citizens they are meant to protect, how often they aim it at vital organs and how little is done to prevent future fatalities (such as a thorough investigation of what went wrong and sanctioning of the perpetrators).
My heart breaks for the poor boy and his family. He just wanted help, poor kid 💔
