Court papers filed Wednesday do not reveal the settlement amount, but a person familiar with the matter…confirmed the total as about $1.2 million.
The settlement resolves a 2023 lawsuit in which Flynn sought at least $50 million & asserted that the criminal case against him amounted to a malicious prosecution.

This has nothing to do with correcting any error the investigations of Russian support of Donald Trump, which found ample evidence of it. It has to do with protecting Trump and executing payback against those who did their job by investigating and prosecuting him.

This is obscene. They were all guilty and prosecuted fairly. Flynn was a Russian asset? Or colluder? before being in the Administration. His Russia alignment is why he was chosen obviously. @Nonilex Flag out theft and fry. Add it to the list of things to prosecute once Democrats get control of government again. And they better not wimp out again or try to reach across the aisle this time.
I wonder if the DOJ’s response sets any kind of precedent. Because there are a bunch of possible lawsuits for malicious prosecution (done by Bondi’s clown car full of malicious prosecutors).
