Two different stories this week about AI-models hacking other firms software, without direction to do so (indeed despite some indication such action was intended to be constrained), hint at the growth of AI & related technologies' potential autonomy, the very issue those most worried about AI have been raising for some time.
Of course, many will argue these are anomalies, but the danger may be what if this is a sign that should be prompting swift response action(s)?
