Two colonial codices from #Mexico record two centuries-old multilingual symbols. Both record the Nāhuatl language of the #Aztec Empire, plus one additional language. One is a brief phrase that gives the date in #Mixtec and #Nāhuatl. The other is a placename in both #Totonac and Nāhuatl.
