I know I’m an old man yelling at clouds but I really truly believe that the time period from ca. 1950–2010 was historically exceptional and that science, truth and facts for the first time hit broad societal support.
We have now slipped back into the longstanding historical default of make-believe, magical thinking and widespread psychosis.
I guess it was great while it lasted.
