🧙♂️🇬🇧 A series of rough-cut stone pillars and massive blocks of millstone grit emerge from a conifer forest in North Yorkshire. While the site appears to be an ancient ritual ground featuring a central altar and standing stones, it is actually a 19th-century folly built to imitate a prehistoric monument. This interesting place is the site of several curious folklore tales and spooky happenings!
