Branko Milanovic (analyst of global inequality) thinks the danger of AI & associated technologies is they promote a (global) society of four classes:

A surplus population (humans Big Tech think have no value);

A service sector working class (precariously serving on the residual work as yet unautomated);

A 'homoploutic' class, the rich (capital owning) professionals, supporting....

The Tech Lords (we know who they are already).

A grim projection indeed!

As a side note, I was surprised (and disappointed) to see that your chosen partner for conducting the interviews, uses Google Forms, rather than a privacy respecting alternative such as #Framaforms or #LiberaForms. They are a much better fit for a project that targets an audience that wants to get away from #bigtech
