was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning, a spokesperson said in a statement.
“Senator McConnell was admitted to the hospital this morning. He is receiving excellent care,” the statement read.
In recent years, McConnell has publicly struggled with his health,
raising questions on whether he will finish out his current Senate term,
set to end in January 2027.
