The good news is that footballers (in the women's & men's game) are more willing to call out offensive messaging....
The bad news is that across English football anti-immigrant chanting & other offensive messaging is on the rise (or at least is more reported than it has been in the past).
This is what happens when our political class happily normalises such sentiment(s).
