I redesigned the Top row algorithm to better handle DMs + Group Chats.
We basically prioritize existing chats, then mutuals and finally recently following.
Cache busting was required to handle updates to following, conversations and blocking, but it's more performant with more relevant results!
I broke it down into two separate pools of results weighted accordingly.

il y a un nouvel outil du développeur de Pixelfed (Instagram alternative) appelé Loops et cet outil fonctionne de la même manière que TikTok, mais cela fait partie du fediverse et cela le rend très intéressant.
Je suis également actif là-bas et je voulais intégrer mon flux vidéo dans WordPress, et jusqu’à présent, cela n’a pas été possible. Oui, j'ai fait un plugin similaire à Pixelfed ou Peertube

Discovery and finding your friends on the fediverse can be tricky.
Either you upload your entire contact list to a central service (nope), or you leverage clever invite methods that people share out of band, to connect IRL people on the fediverse.
Could be as simple as a special invite QR code or link your users can share anywhere, that when visited, onboard them and automatically follow the inviter.

@Eric Spannend! Ich fänd das ja auch andersherum interessant: #WordPress als Basis für Kurzvideos, die auch bei #Loops angezeigt werden.
Für Fotos (#Pixelfed) habe ich mir das mal gebaut: https://fotos.kaffeeringe.de/ - Ich habe noch gar nicht getestet, was passiert, wenn ich da ein Video untermische oder es sogar zum Beitragsbild mache.
