Are there any #GIS / #cartography folk who know a thing or two about hiring / getting hired who would be willing to critique a CV & covering letter?

I'm working on an application for a thing that I _really_ care about. I haven't had much luck recently, and don't really have a "network" to call upon for advice and the such like.

Based in the UK if that matters.

Bit of honesty. As a rehabilitating software engineer the last 5 years have been rough since I first became ill during the pandemic. Was limping along with odd freelance jobs here and there, just enough to pay the bills, but these have dried up.

Need to start promoting myself again and #GetFediHired. Ideally freelance work as this gives me the time flexibility I need but will also consider full-time if something comes along.
