Die Fotografie ist eine wunderbare Begleiterin um das Auszudrücken was die Sprache alleine längst nicht vermag, es sind die Nuancen und Zwischenebenen. Der Zugang zu dem was ist, ist viel leichter zu veranschaulichen.
Ich möchte Individuelles und Ästhetisches - nichts Alltägliches - entstehen lassen, das den Betrachter berührt und träumen lässt.
I write zines and occasionally carve link blocks. I also like to repaint dolls, bookbind, knit, and make things out of literal garbage. I'm teaching myself how to sew, but it's slow-going. Also getting into lomography, which is coming along faster than the sewing thing. The cool thing about hobbies is I can have as many as I want.
It's mainly the zines, though. I publish under the name Ranna Planet. I'm also the programming director for Austin Zine Friends, which is pretty cool.
I'm a huge fan of mailart, zines (mainly minizines) and selfmade beginner comics. :) Topics are mostly colourful, positive minded or galaxy-themed.
