The service’s enormously popular videos include Sarah Cooper’s lip-sync impressions of Trump, which have had millions of views.
The president said he might use an executive order to designate TikTok a national security threat.

“Well, I have that authority,” he said. Earlier in the month, Trump told Gray Television’s Greta Van Susteren that he was thinking of banning TikTok because it is owned by a Chinese company, ByteDance Ltd.
“Look, what happened with China with this virus, what they’ve done to this country and to the entire world is disgraceful,” he said.
