We just had a 12C drop due to a storm moving through. My little plastic greenhouse is now well and truly in need of repair. I also have a slightly more sturdy one that will likely be my pepper hothouse next year and I'll use the repaired one for the snail starts.

I'm just about done with the long term plantings. The only thing left to put in is the berries coming at the end of August (black raspberries, golden raspberries) and the passionfruit vines... as well as some yet to be ordered rhubarb and asparagus as only one of my asparagus plants made it through transplant last autumn.

This all means that next year the focus can be on the fruit and veg that act like annuals here.

Any thoughts on putting rhubarb and/or asparagus crowns in the ground in autumn vs spring?
