1. I cleaned the front porch, which had many months of accumulated dirt, dust, and ick. It's now ready to enjoy.
2. Hot out of the kiln! A decanter and matching cup/lid. Room for improvement, but pretty good for my first attempt. (photos attached)
3. I'm hosting Craft Night at the pottery studio. People bring a craft to work on that's not pottery, and something to eat and drink to share. I'm bringing knitting. This is the third one, and they're a lot of fun.
Same cup and decanter as the other photo. But now the cup is sitting on top of the decanter and acts as a nicely fitted lid.
On the left is a cup and on the right is a decanter. They are both glazed with Floating Blue all over, and then an additional layer of Lynette's Opal half way down from the top. This gives a two-toned blue color. The decanter holds about 1.75 cups of liquid.
