The suffragettes had squads of undercover women trained in Judo and packing truncheons in their petticoats that fought against cops in the streets.
They burned down a cricket stadium because it didn't let women in except for cigarette girls.

@cdarwin It is not the only recent judgment that has flagrantly denied historical reality, similarly to inact the rolling back of rights.
I was interested in the choice of this example by the court. Part of the anti-feminist and ideologically transphobic movement is to insist on chromosomal determinism, in which a violent struggle for equal rights for women is highly inconvenient. (For clarity, the claim is that women are by nature not violent.)
