Not griping at all about the restorations because every cut bleeds and the histories have to remain, but now this fuckin' mobster polyp has cost us yet again, cuz we gotta pay twice to replace the things he's destroyed. So far.

And you know if they even do any work to resolve this, some Nazi administration asshole will put up some offensive rewrite or display, and feign ignorance and have to do it yet again.

This restoration is an enormous project because of the sheer number of sites that the administation has vandalized. After all the cuts to National Parks I hope there are sufficient staff and resources to undertake this.

The preliminary injunction issued by US District Judge Angel Kelley in Massachusetts also orders a pause on any additional changes, writing that the plaintiffs have shown that these efforts are meant “to rewrite the Nation’s history with a white-out pen.”

“History cannot be faithfully told while excluding the experiences of communities whose contributions, struggles, & achievements form an important part of our Nation’s story,” the judge wrote.
